3360**, Pan-Enterovirus Blend, IgG3& IgM, 5.0 mL, Enteroviruses
* Echovirus 4 and thereby the Echovirus Blend may give some weak cross reactivity with Poliovirus 1, 2 and 3. It is recommended to test samples weakly reactive with Echovirus Blend with Light Diagnostics Poliovirus Blend, (Catalog No. 3336) to ensure proper identification.
** Cross reactivity with other viruses may be possible. If low level nonspecific staining is seen and interferes with interpretation of the Pan-Enterovirus IFA results the nonspecific stain can be eliminated by pre-incubating the sample slide/well with PBS, .05% Tween 20, .02% sodium azide with 1% casein or 1% Difco Bacto Skim Milk for 15-30 minutes at 37*C. Pre-incubation will not effect the specific Enterovirus activity.
The Coxsackie B, Echovirus, Enterovirus, Pan-Enterovirus Blend and Poliovirus Blends are intended for in vitro diagnostic use in indirect fluorescence screening for the presumptive identification of viral isolates obtained in culture.
